Good stories for the language classroom<br />
Ziele Course participants will have a range of criteria to <strong>ch</strong>oose good English story books for<br />
both in class and for the classroom library. They will build up a repertoire of English<br />
<strong>ch</strong>ildren’s books that are suitable for use in tea<strong>ch</strong>ing English.<br />
Inhalt As reading is a very good way of improving language skills, we want to bring English<br />
stories into the classroom that appeal to pupils between the age of 9 and 12.<br />
We will talk about our experiences in dealing with <strong>ch</strong>ildren’s literature and then focus on<br />
one particular story to illustrate what activities could be developed.<br />
