The image shows the bipartite network of reception between ancient monuments
and post-ancient documents as contained in the CENSUS database:
As one can clearly see, there exists a huge giant weak connected component.
The respective in- and out-degree distributions follow a power law.
This results in a new understanding of antique reception as a true complex
network, which is non-random and self-organizing.
