2.9 Configuration of DIP switches for the ISDN bus termination resistors<br />
For a correct termination of ISDN S bus the <strong>EAD</strong> <strong>200wi</strong> is equipped with<br />
internal termination resistors (TR). Depending on the installed bus system,<br />
the correct resistance can be set with DIP switches. The switches are<br />
located rightmost in the connection area. The switch pairs SW1 + SW2<br />
and SW3 + SW4 are each connected in parallel, so that these combinations can be set: 100 Ω,<br />
50 Ω or No Parallel Resistor. Default setting is 100 Ω valid for short passive bus and extended<br />
bus. For Y configuration termination resistors have to be switched off. 50 Ω is a special setting,<br />
please do not set it. If the switch setting has been changed, it is always necessary to perform<br />
a restart (see chapter 2.7).<br />
