Voraussetzung für unsere umfassende Systemgewährleistung sowie für die Systemsicherheit mit 

den Nussbaum-Systemen ist die ausschliessliche Verwendung von Systemkomponenten des Nussbaum- 

Lieferprogramms. 

Eine ausführliche Bedienungsanleitung vermittelt die richtige Bedienung, Handhabung und Wartung des Gerätes. Presswerkzeuge 

und System-Pressbacken sind vor Gebrauch auf Funktionstüchtigkeit und evtl. Beschädigung hin zu prüfen. 

Beschädigte Presswerkzeuge und System-Pressbacken dürfen nicht weiter verwendet werden. Sie sind an die nächste autorisierte 

Servicestelle zu schicken. 

System-Pressbacken mit Schmutzablagerungen oder 

metallischen Rückständen, insbesondere im Bereich der 

Pressgeometrie, müssen vor Gebrauch trocken (z.B. mit 

einer Stahlbürste) gereinigt werden.

Achtung: Die neuen formstabilen Rohre und die Press-Fittings der Dimension 25 und 32 weisen 

grössere Innendurchmesser auf als die bisherigen. Ein Fitting der neuen Generation kann nicht in 

ein altes Rohr gesteckt werden. Ein alter Fitting kann aber in das neue Rohr gesteckt werden, darf aber 

aufgrund der unterschiedlichen Durchmesser nicht verpresst werden. Als Übergang von Alt auf Neu 

kann der Übergang 84073 verwendet werden. 

Attention: Le diamètre intérieur des nouveaux tuyaux rigides de dimensions 25 et 32 est supérieur 

aux précédents et de ce fait, les raccords de la nouvelle génération (d‘un diamètre plus élevé) ne 

peuvent pas être introduits dans un ancien tuyau. Les anciens raccords s‘insèrent facilement dans un 

nouveau tuyau, mais ne doivent en aucun cas être utilisés avec celui-ci. La pièce intermédiaire 

84073 assure une transition adéquate entre l‘ancien et le nouveau tuyau. 

Attenzione: I nuovi tubi rigidi e i pressfitting delle dimensioni 25 e 32 hanno un diametro interno 

maggiore rispetto ai precedenti. Un fitting della nuova generazione non può venire inserito in un tubo 

vecchio. Un fitting vecchio può tuttavia venire inserito in un tubo nuovo ma non può venire pressato a 

causa del diametro differente. Per collegare un pezzo vecchio e un pezzo nuovo può venire utilizzato il 

collegamento 84073.

Bei einem Dimensionswechsel ist der Haltebolzen 

kurz herauszuziehen und wieder einzuschieben. 

Anschliessend ist die Referenzierung erneut 

auszuführen.

1.1 Lagerung und Transport der Optipress- und Cupress-Rohre, -Pressfittings und Armaturen 

Beschädigungen und Verschmutzungen sind zu vermeiden. Pressfittings und Armaturen in der Verpackung und 

Rohre mit Schutzkappe lagern. Edelstahl- und Kupferrohre sind geschützt vor Witterungseinflüssen zu lagern. 

1.2 Verlegen der Optipress- und Cupress-Rohre

Um die einwandfreie Dichtfunktion der Pressverbindung zu gewährleisten, sind die rohrweitenabhängigen

Zwischen zwei Rotguss-XL-Pressverbindungen ist kein Mindestabstand notwendig, d.h. die XL-Pressfittings 

können direkt aneinander gepresst werden. 

Hierbei ist aber besonders die Einstecktiefe des Rohres zu beachten.

1.2.2 Minimaler Platzbedarf für den Pressvorgang 

Für einen reibungslosen Montageablauf sind bei der Planung die Mindestabstände zwischen den Rohrleitungen, 

bzw. zwischen der Rohrleitung und der Wand-Decken-Konstruktion zu berücksichtigen.

1.3 Rohrbefestigungen 

Die Schalldämmung von Rohrschellen muss mit chloridfreien Schallschutzeinlagen versehen sein. 

Die Befestigungsabstände sind der untenstehenden Tabelle zu entnehmen.

1.4 Trennen der Edelstahl- und Kupferrohre

Die Rohre können mit einer feinzahnigen Metallsäge, mit einem Rohrabschneider (Edelstahl mit spez. 

Schneidrad), mit automatischen Kreissägen oder Bandsägen (Edelstahl mit spez. Sägeblättern) 

abgelängt werden. 

Es dürfen keine Schmiermittel verwendet werden. Das Ablängen mit der Trennscheibe oder 

mit dem Schneidbrenner ist unzulässig. 

Es wird empfohlen, Werkzeuge für das Verarbeiten von Edelstahl, Kupfer oder unlegiertem 

Stahl werkstoffspezifisch anzuwenden. 

Die Rohrenden müssen vor dem Einstecken in den Pressfitting aussen und innen sauber 

entgratet werden.

1.5 Biegen der Optipress- und Cupress-Rohre 

1.5.1 Optipress-Systemrohre 

Das Warmbiegen von Edelstahlrohren ist nicht zulässig. Systemrohre der Grössen 15, 18, 22 und 28 können mit 

geeigneten Biegevorrichtungen kalt gebogen werden. 

Dabei darf ein Mindestradius von R = 3,5 x Aussendurchmesser (da) nicht unterschritten werden. 

Des Weiteren ist zu beachten, dass bei allfällig in der Nähe von Biegestellen platzierten Pressfittings ein 

genügend langes, zylindrisches Rohrstück (Richtwert 50 mm) zum Einstecken vorhanden ist. 

1.5.2 Cupress-Kupferrohre 

Das Warmbiegen von Kupferrohren wird für sanitäre Installationen nicht empfohlen. Kupferrohre der 

Grössen 12, 15, 18 und 22 können mit geeigneten Biegevorrichtungen kalt gebogen werden. 

Blanke Kupferrohre Stangenrohre 12 und 15 mm kalt biegbar r = 3,5 da 

nach DIN 1786 halbhart R 250 18 und 22 mm mit Biegegerät r = 4 da 

und hart R 290

Des Weiteren ist zu beachten, dass bei allfällig in der Nähe von Biegestellen platzierten Pressfittings ein 

genügend langes, zylindrisches Rohrstück (Richtwert 50 mm) zum Einstecken vorhanden ist.

1.6 Lagerung und Transport von Optiflex-Kunststoffrohren, -Pressfittings, -Schraubfittings 

und Armaturen

Beschädigungen und Verschmutzungen sind zu vermeiden. Pressfittings, Schraubfittings und Armaturen sind in 

der Verpackung, Kunststoffrohre mit Schutzkappen zu lagern. 

Für einen reibungslosen Montageablauf sind bei der Planung die Mindestabstände zwischen den Rohrleitungen, 

bzw. zwischen der Rohrleitung und der Wand-Decken-Konstruktion zu berücksichtigen. Die Mindestabstände 

können den untenstehenden Tabellen entnommen werden.

Die Rohre und Schutzrohre sollten fachgerecht mit der Spezialschere 87094 getrennt werden. 

Die Rohre 32 bis 63 mm werden fachgerecht mit dem Rohrabschneider 87089 getrennt.

1.10 Gewindeverbindungen

Bei Gewindeverbindungen im Optipress- und Cupress-Installationssystem sind zuerst die Gewindeverbindungen 

und anschliessend die Pressverbindungen herzustellen um unnötige Torsionsspannungen zu vermeiden. 

Zur Abdichtung von Gewindeverbindungen aus Edelstahl dürfen nur handelsüblicher, chlorfreier Hanf und chloridfreie 

Dichtmittel eingesetzt werden. Kunststoff-Gewinde-Dichtband, z.B. aus Teflon, darf nicht verwendet werden. 

1.11 Flanschverbindung 

Bei Flanschverbindungen oder Verschraubungen in Optipress- oder Cupress-Installationen sind immer zuerst 

die Flanschverbindungen resp. die Verschraubungen und anschliessend die Pressverbindungen 

herzustellen. 

1.12 Dichtheitsprüfung / Druckprüfung und Spülung, Frostschutzmittel 

Druckprüfung und Spülung von Optipress-, Cupress- und Optiflex-Installationen sind nach den Leitsätzen W3 des 

SVGW durchzuführen. Vor der Druckprüfung ist eine Dichtheitsprüfung mit einem Druck bis max. 6 bar über eine 

Dauer von 10 min. vorzunehmen. Dadurch können unverpresste Pressfittings (mit SC-Contour) festgestellt 

werden (siehe Prüfprotokoll in der Optipress-/Optipress-Therm-/Cupress-Anwendungstechnik). 

Bei Frostgefahr während der Prüfung muss dem Trinkwasser ein Frostschutzmittel beigemischt werden. 

Für Optipress-, Cupress- und Optiflex-Installationen sind nur Frostschutzmittel auf Glykolbasis oder Wasser- 

Alkohol-Mischungen zu verwenden. Wasser-Salz-Mischungen, insbesondere Wasser-Kochsalz-Mischungen 

sind nicht zulässig.

1.13 Druckprüfung von Druckluftinstallationen 

Alle Gase, dazu gehört auch Druckluft, haben die Eigenschaft, dass sie sich im Gegensatz zu Wasser stark komprimieren 

lassen. Beim Ausgleiten einer Rohrverbindung oder beim Bersten einer Installationskomponente kann 

es je nach Grösse der Anlage (Volumen multipliziert mit dem Druck der komprimierten Luft) zu einer explosionsartigen 

Entspannung des Leitungsdruckes kommen. In der Praxis wird dieser Umstand zu einem oft unterschätzten 

Sicherheitsrisiko für Personen und Güter. 

Aus Sicherheitsgründen müssen deshalb Druckluftinstallationen mit Nussbaum-Installationssystemen 

mit 25 bar Wasserdruck auf Festigkeit geprüft werden. Vor der Festigkeitsprüfung ist eine Dichtheitsprüfung 

mit einem Wasserdruck bis max. 6 bar über eine Dauer von 10 min. vorzunehmen. Dadurch können 

unverpresste Pressfittings (mit SC-Contour) festgestellt werden. 

1.14 Druckprüfung von Gas-Installationen 

Eine Optipress-Gaz-Installation darf erst in Betrieb genommen werden, wenn sich die zuständige Gasversorgung 

oder eine von dieser beauftragten Kontrollstelle davon überzeugt hat, dass die Installation den Anforderungen
