ATS – Motorsport for more than 40 years
The high-tech brand ATS is an international leading alloy wheel brand for passenger cars and sport-utility vehicles. The long-standing German
company takes its roots from its former Formula 1 activities and achieved international prominence. ATS is a supplier of high-tech wheels for
professional motorsport and has been successfully involved for many years in numerous races, such as the ATS Formula 3 CUP, the FIA F3
European Championship, the VW Scirocco Cup, and the VLN Endurance Racing Championship Nürburgring. ATS is expanding further its
leading role in weight-optimized high-tech wheels thanks to its own forged wheel production which was established in 2011 in Germany.
ECE
ATS alloy wheels with ECE-approved label (Economic Commission for Europe) are homologated according to the
European ECE Regulation 124.
• International: These wheels can be used in Europe and many other countries without any additional approval
• Cost savings: No special entry in the vehicle documents is required
• Useful: Standard fi ttings can be used further
TPMS
or TPMS-sensor
ATS alloy wheels are already designed for tyre pressure monitoring systems (TPMS). This system is used to
monitor the tyre pressure using a sensor built in rim / valve (direct system), thus becoming an important safety-related
component. The optimal tyre pressure also saves fuel. TPMS is mandatory since 01.11.2012 for newly homologated
car models up to a maximum weight of 3.5 tonnes according to ECE regulation R64, and it will become mandatory for
all newly registered vehicles as from 01.11.2014.
• Accessories sensors: The operation of the TPMS is available for vehicles that are standard or optionally fitted
with accessories sensors of HUF / BERU or ALLIGATOR.
• Original sensors: The latest constructively adapted ATS alloy wheels also enable the operation of the TPMS
sensors with original sensors of respective car manufacturers.
EH2+
ATS alloy wheels with this designation are specifically designed for RunFlat tyres. Tyres with emergency running
properties (RunFlat) are strengthened by reinforced sidewalls. The two extended humps (EH) on the rim bed prevent
a tyre slipping in the case of a sudden loss of tyre pressure. In order to ensure emergency running properties RunFlat
tyres must be combined with EH2 / EH2+ rims.
