Remote control<br />
Introduction<br />
In general terms the function of the buttons on the remote control handset is the<br />
same as the corresponding buttons on the machine’s front panel.<br />
The Infra-Red sensor for the remote control system is located below the screen<br />
area of the <strong>PA</strong> <strong>3000</strong> <strong>HV</strong>. There must be unobstructed line of sight between the<br />
F<strong>3000</strong> and the machine’s integral screen.<br />
The following table shows the remote control buttons and their function when<br />
operating the machine.<br />

Switches the device on and off<br />
Direct source select buttons (SOURCE)<br />
The listening sources can be selected directly using the<br />
SOURCE buttons to .<br />
Increase / decrease volume<br />
The volume can be increased / decreased in steps by tipping<br />
one of the volume buttons. The current volume level is displayed<br />
on the display screen. If one of the buttons is kept pressed for<br />
approx.. 2 seconds the volume increases / decreases<br />
continuously until the button is released.<br />
Direct alpha-numeric input<br />
Special characters are assigned to the and <br />
buttons.<br />
During the text input process it is possible to switch between<br />
numerical and alpha-numeric input, and between capital and<br />
lower-case letters, using the button.<br />

Switches between numeric and alpha-numeric input, and<br />
between capitals and lower case when pressed (repeatedly)<br />

Selects the previous point within a list / select button<br />
Selects the next point within a list / select button<br />
Confirmation button during input procedures<br />
Opens the balance adjustment menu.<br />
A brief press opens the Configuration menu<br />
Brief presses cycle through the display mo<strong>des</strong><br />
A brief press on the Monitor button switches the monitor function<br />
on and off.<br />
Briefly pressing these buttons switches the loudspeaker outputs<br />
A and B on and off.<br />
