Remote control
Introduction
In general terms the function of the buttons on the remote control handset is the
same as the corresponding buttons on the machine’s front panel.
The Infra-Red sensor for the remote control system is located below the screen
area of the PA 3000 HV. There must be unobstructed line of sight between the
F3000 and the machine’s integral screen.
The following table shows the remote control buttons and their function when
operating the machine.

Switches the device on and off
Direct source select buttons (SOURCE)
The listening sources can be selected directly using the
SOURCE buttons to .
Increase / decrease volume
The volume can be increased / decreased in steps by tipping
one of the volume buttons. The current volume level is displayed
on the display screen. If one of the buttons is kept pressed for
approx.. 2 seconds the volume increases / decreases
continuously until the button is released.
Direct alpha-numeric input
Special characters are assigned to the and
buttons.
During the text input process it is possible to switch between
numerical and alpha-numeric input, and between capital and
lower-case letters, using the button.
During character input:
Switches between numeric and alpha-numeric input, and
between capitals and lower case when pressed (repeatedly)
Navigation
Returns to the previous point / change button
Confirms the input / change button
Selects the previous point within a list / select button
Selects the next point within a list / select button
Confirmation button during input procedures
Opens the balance adjustment menu.
A brief press opens the Configuration menu
Brief presses cycle through the display modes
A brief press on the Monitor button switches the monitor function
on and off.
Briefly pressing these buttons switches the loudspeaker outputs
A and B on and off.
