Régates Royales / Yacht Club DE Cannes
Marinepool and the Yacht Club de
Cannes have a long-term established
partnership in the Régates Royales classic
yacht regatta. In 2013, Marinepool
reaffirmed its commitment to the organisers
by re-signing the partnership with
the Yacht Club de Cannes for its major
events from 2013 to 2016.
Located on the Pointe Croisette, with
an outstanding view on the Lérins
islands, Yacht Club de Cannes offers
an excep tional setting for the major
sailing competitions they host regularly.
It was founded in 1860 and is still one
of the most dynamic Yacht Clubs in the
region organising more than twenty races
throughout the year. Established in 1929,
Régates Royales represents one of the
most prestigious fixtures in the international
regatta season reserved for classic
and vintage yachts as well as the gorgeous
Dragon Class. It has become a
meeting venue for the world’s top sailors
and some of the most beautiful sailing
yachts in existence. Approximately 120
exceptionally renovated and meticulously
maintained classic yachts set sail off the
stunning coastline of Cannes every year
– pure eye candy for sailors and spectators
alike.
With the renewal of its partnership with
the Régates Royales, Marinepool will
continue to create a special collection
dedicated to the event. The new collection
for 2014 marks a new direction: fresh colors
such as smart turquoise, indigo and
contrasting highlights in neon-orange
mingled with traditional colors and cuts
that emphasize the harmonic balance
between classic beauty and contem -
po rary lifestyle. All styles are adorned
with Yacht Club de Cannes symbols
such as its flag logo on the chest or
stars inside hoods and linings as well as
stylish Régates Royales artwork in both
patching and embroidery representing
a fashionable homage to the historic
French yacht club and its internationally
recognized event.
