In 2011, the new AC45 multihull<br />
class for the America‘s Cup was<br />
successfully introduced. In 2012,<br />
9 Teams from 7 nations raced against<br />
each other in these impressive, state<br />
of the art catamarans with live TV<br />
bringing all the action, excitement,<br />
energy and power of these boats<br />
alive.<br />
Marinepool and Energy Team France,<br />
supported by the prestigious Yacht<br />
Club de France, joined forces in their<br />
challenge for the 34th America‘s Cup.<br />
The Team is lead by sailing legends<br />
Loick and Bruno Peyron, heroes in<br />
France and two of the most celebrated<br />
sailing figures around the<br />
globe. The Peyron brothers have<br />
been involved in competitive professional<br />
sailing for the past 30 years.<br />
They teamed up and were joined by<br />
Marinepool as the official clothing<br />
supplier to win the ultimate prize in<br />
sailing and bring the “Auld Mug” for<br />
the first time ever to France.<br />
