Ababa street children financially. At this juncture, we are happy
to express that hundreds of the beneficiaries of the programme
have gained a lot. To mention some of the achievements,
some of the beneficiaries have become physicians, nurses,
government officials, self employees, garage owners, small
and medium size owners, congregation elders and so on.
Last but not least we would earnestly like to mention that we
would sincerely like to appreciate and thank Dr. Mommsen.
Meanwhile, our profound gratitude goes to the Marburg church
circuit who raises fund and transfers to our church so that the
beneficiaries get support timely and we also appreciate the
confidence the church circuit has entrusted on us. Our sincere
thanks also go to Dr. Karl-Ludwig Voss who is the Dean of the
Marburg-Land church circuit, the Rev. Martin Zekl, and the
board members of the church circuit, not to forget Rev.
Johannes Launhardt as well.

Re-unification Programme!
In seinem Grußwort erinnert der Präsident an die Anfänge des
Straßenkinderprogramms, das zunächst auf die Unterstützung
von 17 Kindern konzentriert war, aufgrund des ständig zunehmenden
Ausmaßes an Bedürftigkeit aber sehr schnell und in
vielfacher Hinsicht durch die finanzielle Hilfe aus dem Kirchenkreis
Marburg-Land ausgebaut werden konnte.
Er unterstreicht die besondere Rolle Pfr. Dr. Mommsens für
den Erfolg des Projekts, der nicht zuletzt daran erkennbar sei,
dass aus Straßenkindern Ärzte und Schwestern, Regierungsbeamte,
Selbstständige und auch kirchliche Funktionsträger
werden konnten.
Sein tiefer Dank gilt neben Pfr. Dr. Mommsen und Pfr. Johannes
Launhardt dem Engagement des Kirchenkreises, für den
er stellvertretend Dekan Dr. Voss und Pfr. Martin Zekl nennt.
