Sauna stove/Comfort Climate stove 3kW<br />
1. Use for intended purpose<br />
These sauna stoves are designed only for normal operation in the heating of sauna cabins fitted with<br />
control systems that have been tested and approved by the Association of German Electrical Engineers<br />
(VDE) or TÜV.<br />
The sauna stoves are to be used for their intended purpose only. This includes observance of the<br />
manufacturer’s specified operating, assembly and servicing <strong>instructions</strong>. The manufacturer can accept<br />
no liability for loss or damage resulting from incorrect operation of or unauthorized modifications to the<br />
sauna stove. The user bears sole responsibility in this case.<br />
These sauna stoves and their component parts must only be operated, serviced and maintained by<br />
persons who are suitably trained for the purpose and familiar with the hazards involved. Observe the<br />
corresponding VDE specifications (or your local equivalents), along with any applicable<br />
generally-recognized technical standards.<br />
2. General safety precautions<br />
Read and observe the setup <strong>instructions</strong> and safety precautions before using for the first time.<br />
All items in these assembly <strong>instructions</strong> that concern your personal safety are marked<br />
with this symbol. Make a copy of the safety precautions available to other users.<br />

Disconnect the control system from the mains supply before opening the stove connection box.<br />
The stove must be connected to the mains supply by a locally-authorized electrician or service<br />
technician.<br />
The sauna unit must be hard-wired into the mains electrical system in accordance with the<br />
specifications of the Association of German Electrical Engineers (VDE) or your local equivalent. Fit<br />
I nN ≤ 0.03 A fault-current circuit breaker with a minimum contact opening of 3 mm to the power<br />
supply line.<br />
Do not carry out unauthorized modifications to the sauna stove.<br />
Electrical cables running inside the cabin and its walls must be sealed with silicon.<br />
Always ensure, before putting the sauna stove into service, that there are no flammable items on or<br />
near the stove. FIRE HAZARD!<br />
Contact customer service if a malfunction cannot be dealt with by an approved electrician.<br />
Set up the sauna stove in accordance with the assembly <strong>instructions</strong>.<br />
Use only original spare parts!<br />
Check the sauna stove regularly for signs of damage.<br />

The clearances with respect to the sauna walls are given on the plate attached to<br />
the stove. If these clearances are not observed, our sauna systems no longer fulfil<br />
their test-approval specifications.<br />
Ventilate the sauna cabin correctly. This is carried out via an adequately-sized<br />
ventilation opening in the floor frame (beneath the stove) and specially-configured<br />
wall elements.<br />
Do not operate the sauna stove alongside other heating devices.<br />
The surfaces of the sauna stove become very hot. A safety grille should be fitted for<br />
this reason.<br />
