Winter Sports in ÄGERITAL (Ägeri Valley)
The Ägeri Valley with its beautiful
scenery offers many interesting
possibilities to engage in winter sports.
We would like to introduce you to two
possibilities in this edition:
Skilift Nollen (ski lift Nollen)
The skiing area «Nollen» offers fun for the
whole family. The children's lift is ideal for
the first attempts on skis or snowboard.
For advanced skiers the tow lift offers true
«Fahrvergnügen» – skiing pleasure. With a
length of 1400 meters and an altitude difference
of 400 meters, the «Nollen» skiing
area offers the longest ski lift in Canton Zug.
The lower terminus is at 750 meters above
sea level. A blue and a red run lead from
«Nollengatter» (upper terminus) back to the
bottom through gorgeous countyside. The
ski area is 5 minutes from the village center
in Unterägeri at «Boden». Directly adjacent
to the ski lift «Nollen», there is free parking.

There are also various single and multiple
run tickets in the offering. Information on
the operation of the ski lift, the opening
times and the snow and weather conditions

Cross country trails («Loipe»)
The starting point for the 3 trails, skating and
classic techniques, in Unterägeri are located
at the Restaurant Schützen in the «Boden»
area. Parking is also available there. The
«Furenloipe» (3,5 km) and the «Seeloipe»
(6 km) are easy and only have a few easy
downhills. They offer a fantastic view over
the valley and the lake. Another access to
the «Seeloipe» is behind the parking lot of
the secondary school «Schönenbüel». The
«Rämselloipe» (8 km) has an intermediate
level of difficulty and takes advanced cross
country skiers through snow covered forests
and open meadows to «Sibristboden» via
«Chnoden» back to the starting point.

311 61 11. At the entrance to Unterägeri,
near the bus stop «Zimmerl», there is also
a billboard displaying the necessary information.
If there is more than 20 cm of new
snow, it is possible to prepare the tracks with
either a snow cat or snow mobile.
