her profession. Since 1974 the trained
biology technician has been working
as caretaker of laboratory animals on
the Buch campus. “I grew up in Buch
and used to accompany my stepmother,
who was also an animal caretaker, to
the research campus on weekends,”
she recalled. “I really enjoyed this
work.” Her daughter has now decided to
become an animal caretaker, continuing
the tradition in the third generation.
