Especially a collection of paintings by Antonín Slavíček is quite unique. • Reitstall im Schloss mit Galerie für moderne Kunst – Dauerausstellung der tschechischen Kunst vom Ende des 19. Jhd. bis zur Gegenwart; der größte Magnet ist die einzigartige Bildsamml ung von Antonín Slavíček. Hláska • Věž sloužící k vyhlídkám je jediným dochovaným pozůstatkem opevnění nejstarší části Roudnice. • An observation tower is the only preserved remnant of the fortification of the oldest part of Roudnice. • Der Aussichtsturm ist der einzige erhaltene Rest der Stadtbefestigung des ältesten Teiles von Roudnice. Augustiniánský klášter a chrám Narození Panny Marie • Základní kámen stavby, na které se podíleli i francouzští mistři, byl položen v roce 1333. • Augustinian Monastery and the Church of the Birth of the Virgin Mary – the foundation stone of the construction, which French master craftsmen helped to build, was laid in 1333. • Augustinerkloster und Kirche Mariä Geburt – die Grundsteinlegung der Kirche, auf deren Bau sich auch französische Meister beteiligt haben, datiert ins Jahr 1333. Barokní zámek • Je dílem Václava Eusebia z Lobkovic, byl vystavěn na pozůstatcích románského hradu, jehož severozápadní nároží zůstalo zachováno pod terasou nového zámku. • Baroque Castle – built by Wenceslas Eusebius of Lobkovice It was Antonio Porto who gave the structure its final form. • Barockschloss – ein Werk von Wenzel Eusebius von Lobkowitz; um das definitive Erscheinungsbild machte sich Antonio Porta verdient. Rozhledna • Je příkladem moderní funkcionalistické architektury meziválečné doby. • Observation tower – an example of the modern Functionalistic architecture of the interwar period. • Aussichtsturm – ein Beispiel der modernen funktionalistischen Architektur aus der Zeit zwischen den Weltkriegen. Město papíru Štětí • Město Štětí leží na pravém břehu Labe, na západním okraji Dubské plošiny a přes průmyslový ráz se jedná o moderní a stále se rozvíjející město. • The city of Štětí is situated on the right bank of the Elbe river on the southern edge of the Dubská plateau (Oak plateau) and though mostly industrial it‘s a modern and growing town. • Die Stadt Štětí liegt auf dem rechten Elbeufer auf dem westlichen Rand von Dubská plošina (die Dubská Ebene). Obwohl es sich um eine industrielle Stadt handelt, ist Štětí auch eine moderne und boomende Stadt. „Texas“ • V okolních obcích, zvláště pak Chcebuzi, Radouni, Brocně nebo Snědovicích, se nachází řada pozoruhodných kulturních, architektonických, ale i přírodních památek. Je zde zajímavá až divoká krajina, a proto se celému území přezdívá „TEXAS“. • In the surrounding towns and villages, especially Chcebuzi, Tadouni, Brocně or Snědovicích are a variety of cultural, architectural as well as natural landmarks. Thanks to the interesting and almost wild natural surroundings the area has been dubbed „TEXAS“. • In den umliegenden Gemeinden, besonders in Chcebuz, Radoun, Brocna oder Snědovice, befinden sich viele interessante nicht nur kulturelle, architektonische sondern auch natürliche Denkmäler. Hier findet man interessante und auch wilde Landschaft und deswegen nennt man dieses Gebiet „TEXAS“. Brána do Kokořínska • Přes nedalekou obec Stračí vedou turistické i cyklistické trasy dále do Chráněné krajinné oblasti Kokořínsko, kde je v rozsáhlých borových lesích k vidění řada pískovcových skalních útvarů nebo tesaných soch - např. Mordloch, Sedm chlebů, Had, Harfenice, Máří Magdalena aj. • A great number of hiking and cycling trails pass through the town of Stračí and continue into the Protected Park Preserve surrounding Kokořínsko, where there are vast expanses of pine forests and a variety of natural and manmade natural wonders. For example Mordloch, Seven breads, Snake, The Harpist, Mary Magdalena etc. • Durch die unweite Gemeinde Stračí (Stratschen) führen die Radwege und Wanderwege weiter nach das Naturschutzgebiet Kokořínsko, wo man in den umfangreichen Kiefernwälder viele Sandsteinformationen oder Statuen – z.B. Mordloch, Sedm chlebů, Had, Harfenice, Máří Magdalena u.a. sehen kann. Areál vodních sportů Račice • Na levém břehu Labe se v obci Račice nachází moderní veslařský kanál s mnoha možnostmi pro aktivní trávení volného času - plavání, 5 km dlouhý in-line okruh pro bruslaře, plážový volejbal, bowling aj. • On left bank of the Elbe river in the town of Račice is a modern rowing canal with a large selection of ways to spend your day actively including swimming, inline skating on 5km of inline skate paths, beach volleyball, bowling and much more. • Auf dem linken Elbeufer befindet sich in der Gemeinde Račice (Ratschitz) der moderne Ruderkanal mit vielen Möglichkeiten für die aktive Freizeitgestaltung – das Schwimmen, 5 Km lange Spotrkreis für die In-Line – Läufer, die Strandvolleyball, das Bowling usw.
