He showed Harry the index finger of his right hand, which sported a halfhealed
but clearly deep cut.
'Oh, yeah,' Harry said. 'Sorry about that, but I wanted answers, you know -'
'We wanted to give them to you, mate,' said Ron. 'Hermione was going spare,
she kept saying you'd do something stupid if you were stuck all on your own
without news, but Dumbledore made us -'
'- swear not to tell me,' said Harry. 'Yeah, Hermione's already said.'
The warm glow that had flared inside him at the sight of his two best friends
was extinguished as something icy flooded the pit of his stomach. All of a
sudden - after yearning to see them for a solid month — he felt he would
rather Ron and Hermione left him alone.
There was a strained silence in which Harry stroked Hedwig automatically, not
looking at either of the others.
'He seemed to think it was best,' said Hermione rather breathlessly.
'Dumbledore, I mean.'
'Right,' said Harry. He noticed that her hands, too, bore the marks of Hedwigs
beak and found that he was not at all sorry.
Den Streit im Ganzen habe ich bereits an anderer Stelle analysiert --->
- Harry sandte Hedwig aus um Sirius, Ron und Hermione so lange zu piesacken, bis diese ihm alle
zurückgehaltenen Informationen erteilen würden. Bilanz:
Sirius trägt keine Wunden, von denen wir erfahren.
Ron hat eine tiefe Wunde im Zeigefinger, die allerdings am Verheilen ist.
Hermiones HÄNDE sind zerpickt.
Hedwig legte meiste Arbeit daran HERMIONE an Harry schreiben zu lassen, die sowieso stark mit dem
Gedanken spielte Dumbledores Informationssperre zu überschreiten.
- dass sie es nicht tat empört Harry am meisten, der diesbezüglich scheinbar größtes Vertrauen in
Hermione steckte, als in die anderen beiden. Hedwig handelte dementsprechend an Hermione und
bestrafte sie am härtesten.
- das zeigt erneut Hedwigs instinktives Verständnis der Harry- Hermione- Beziehung.
OoP- Hermione borgt Hedwig von Harry
'Erm - Harry - could I borrow Hedwig so I can tell Mum and Dad? They'll be
really pleased - I mean prefect is something they can understand.'
'Yeah, no problem,' said Harry, still in the horrible hearty voice that did
not belong to him. Take her!'
He leaned over his trunk, laid the robes on the bottom of it and pretended to
be rummaging for something while Hermione crossed to the wardrobe and called
Hedwig down.
