Course Overview I already look forward to meeting you all on May 28th, June 2 nd and June 3 rd for an Introduction to European Tax Law. This course examines the influence of European Community law (fundamental freedoms, directives) on the domestic tax systems of the EU Member States and discusses European Union tax policy. It will follow along the lines set by the attached Powerpoint presentation; the additional readings and materials in this compilation should help you prepare for the course and the exam. There will be an exam in this course for all students. For students in the diploma studies of law, additional coursework in the form of a brief seminar paper will be required. Details will be discussed in the session on Wednesday, May 28 th , 15:30-18:45, HS 8; the papers will be due by the end of the semester.
