Remote control<br />
General Information<br />
In general terms the remote control buttons have the same function<br />
as the corresponding buttons on the DAC 8 front panel.<br />
The infra-red sensor for the remote control system is located in the<br />
display area of the DAC 8. There must be clear line-of-sight contact<br />
between the F8 handset and the screen.<br />
The following tables show the remote control buttons and their<br />
functions when operating the machine.<br />

Toggles between the co-ax inputs S/P-DIF 1 and S/P-DIF<br />
2.<br />
Toggles between the co-ax inputs S/P-DIF 3 and S/P-DIF<br />

Toggles between the optical input OPT and the co-ax<br />
input BNC.<br />
Toggles between the balanced AES/EBU input and the<br />
USB input.<br />
This button toggles between normal and inverse signal<br />
phase.<br />
Toggles between FIR 1 and FIR 2 oversampling.<br />
Toggles between the two types of Bezier oversampling.<br />
With the button, the bandwidth of the analogue<br />
output filter can be switched between 60 kHz (normal<br />
mode) or 120 kHz ('WIDE' mode).<br />
