5. Sealing
The aluminium roof tile/transition point to the air-termination rod/air-termination tip must be
sealed as follows:
Cut the rubber sleeve to length according to
the diameter of the air-termination
rod/air-termination tip
Adjust the rubber sleeve to the aluminium roof tile
Attach the sealing tape around the transition
point to the air-termination
rod/air-termination tip

6. Down conductor / Earthing

The down conductor is connected to the nearest air-termination or earth-termination system
using e.g. an MV clamp (for air-termination rods) while ensuring that the required separation
distance is maintained.
