Open Days. Seabob and Nauti Parts were also in atten- dance to support the event, showing exciting new pro- ducts. "The Open Days will continue to be a fixed appoint- ment in our event calendar for next year. The concept to combine an in-house boat show with selected associate partners, in parallel with Boat Show Palma, has proven fruitful. We are delighted to see that the barometer is pointing at the sun again”, commented Torsten Sieckmann, CEO at Sunseeker Germany. Miguel Angel Linares, Managing Director at Sunseeker Spain said: „The Open Days were perfectly organised and the range of Sunseeker yachts on display were very impressive. We look forward to address a more international audience for the next year.” With head office located in Port Adriano, Sunseeker Mallorca, who will celebrate its 20th anniversary this year, is the only and official Sunseeker distributor of the Island, since their alliance with Sunseeker Spain in 2012. www.sunseeker.de Shows 122
First Passeport Escales Customer arrives in France Following the great news that MDL Marinas has joined forces with French marina operator, Sagemor, giving berth holders access to an additional 55 marinas this season, MDL is delighted to announce its first custo- mer using Passeport Escales arrived in France on Sunday 5th May. Simon and Jenny Wilmshurst-Smith embarked on their cruise from MDL’s Brixham Marina aboard their yacht Fenicia, arriving at the first marina in Camaret-Sur-Mer in northwest France. They have since been enjoying the delights of the coast of France and taking in a num- ber of marinas, enjoying stays at Port Louis before setting off to Port Haliguen in Quiberon and back to Port Joinville in lle d'Yeu. They are planning to return to Brixham Marina on 2nd June. Simon Wilmshurst-Smith, commented: “We had a gre- at journey and have received a fantastic welcome from all the marina teams. They have been very efficient with the Passeport Escales arrangements when we arrived and were very excited that we were their first British customers. The arrival couldn’t be easier and we’d highly recommend others get out there and use it.” News Passeport Escales was launched on 1st April 2013 and gives MDL’s UK annual berth holders a completely uni- que package to gain free visitor nights at an additional 55 marinas on the northwest coast of France – all within their annual berthing fee. Berth holders can take advantage of the scheme for the rest of the se- ason, which is an easy-to-use, fully automated system. It works as a reciprocal programme where berth hol- ders check out of their marinas and choose another marina to stay at from the network. The only condition of the scheme is boaters must check out on leaving. For further information visit www.mdlmarinas.co.uk 123
