preventing and treating brain diseases such as Alzheimer‘s disease,
stroke and Parkinson‘s disease, cell and tissue damage
caused by ischemia, or cardiovascular system disease such as
myocardial infarction.
What is claimed is:
1. A use of an ethyl acetate extract of Opuntia fi cus-indica for
preventing and treating a brain disease, an ischemic disease and
a cardiovascular system disease.
