Article 14
It is agreed that in cases where the persons concerned are unable to arrive at a
settlement in accordance with the provisions of chapter 5 of the Treaty, such persons
shall be at liberty to purchase other lands in the area of the Netherlands-German
frontier.
Article 15
The provisions of this Final Protocol form part of the Frontier Treaty.
DONE at The Hague, on 8 April 1960, in two original copies, each in the Dutch
and German languages, both texts being equally authentic.

With reference to the Frontier Treaty signed today, I I have the honour to inform
you as follows :
The Government of the Federal Republic of Germany and public corporations
in the Federal Republic will not call upon the Kingdom of the Netherlands for the
settlement of any claims which might arise out of the exercise of the rights of sovereignty
transferred to the Kingdom following the Second World War with respect
to the areas referred to in article 4 of the Frontier Treaty.
