EXPORT
Sowohl bei Differenz- als auch bei Regelbesteuerung sind von der Mehrwertsteuer befreit Ausfuhrlieferungen in Drittländer
(d.h. außerhalb der EU) und – bei Angabe der MWSt.-Identifikations-Nr., jedoch nur bei Regelbesteuerung
– auch an Unternehmen in anderen EU-Mitgliedstaaten. Nehmen Auktionsteilnehmer ersteigerte Gegenstände selber
in Drittländer mit, wird ihnen die MWSt. erstattet, sobald uns der Ausfuhr- und Abnehmernachweis vorliegt.
Exports to third (i.e. non-EU) countries will be exempt from VAT, and so will be exports made by companies from
other EU member states if they state their VAT identification number. Persons who have bought an item at an auction
and export it as personal luggage to any third country will be refunded the VAT as soon as the form certifying
the exportation and the exporter’s identity has been returned to the auctioneer.
For objects made from material of endangered species we are able to supply you with the necessary export licence
issued by the German Federal Office of the protection of nature. This requires to three weeks and extra fees.
FOR OUR AMERICAN CUSTOMERS
When sending us bids for the auction, we kindly ask you to mark, if you wish to be billed in US $ (at the exchange
rate of monday after the auktion day). By giving us forwarding instructions together with the bid, we are able to
pre-calculate the transportation costs with insurance obligatory. So, you can pay the purchase and transportation
with one US $ check.
However, the bid itself has to be made in Euro, since – for legal reasons – the auction is conducted in Euro.
