This annual festival allows experts and lovers of
fine wines and gourmet food to meet and mingle
in the stunning surroundings of the kursaal while
sampling the best of what’s on offer. some special
events this year include “bio & dynamica”, Gourmetarena
– show cooking with celebrity chefs, an
auction of alba truffles and tastings of the austrian
Grand Cru.

Christmas in Merano

ende november verwandelt sich die Promenade
entlang der Passer in eine kleine märchenwelt
mit aneinandergereihten holzhäuschen, Lichtern
und geschmückten Tannenbäumen. Und auf der
gegenüberliegenden seite des Flusses, am Thermenplatz,
locken zudem der eislaufplatz und ein
streichelzoo die Besucher an.
La Passeggiata lungo Passirio si trasforma verso
fine novembre in un piccolo mondo incantato,
con le sue casette di legno disposte l’una accanto
all’altra, le tipiche luci natalizie e gli alberi di
natale con i loro addobbi. dall’altra parte del
fiume, in piazza Terme, sono la pista di pattinaggio
ed il mini zoo con gli animali a portata di carezze a
catturare tutte le simpatie dei visitatori.
The promenade along the river Passirio transforms
into a winter wonderland at the end of
november with the festive wooden huts lined up
together, under the twinkling Christmas lights and
the Christmas trees with their baubles and bells.
On the other side of the river, in piazza Terme, a
skating rink and a mini petting zoo completes a
wonderful winter day-out for all the family.

in den südtiroler alpen, am schnalstaler Gletscher,
werden ab Februar 2010 wieder die icemusickonzerte
im icedome auf einer seehöhe von 3.200
m stattfinden.
Le alpi sudtirolesi, sul ghiacciaio della val senales,
costituiranno lo scenario dove a partire dal
febbraio 2010 torneranno a svolgersi i concerti di
icemusic ospitati all’interno dell’icedome ad un
altitudine di 3.200 metri sul livello del mare.
From February 2010, the south Tyrolean alps, and
in particular the senales glacier, are the breathtaking
backdrop to the icemusic concerts that will
take place in the icedome, located 3,200 metres
above sea level.
