Est enim ex numero 12 urbis consulum qui subinde imperium obtinent; nuper Consul regens erat, nunc thesaurarii munus exercet. Praeclara admodum in ejus schedis superesse certum est. Methodus tangentium a Slusio publicata dudum illi fuit nota. Amplior ejus methodus est, quam quae a Slusio fuit publicata. Sed et Quadratura Hyperbolae 5 Mercatoris ipsi jam anno 1662 innotuit 2 . Hugenium Hagae Comitis vidi[,] sanitatem pristinam recuperasse sum laetatus.
