PFLEGE UND AUFBEWAHRUNG<br />
Auch moderne Seile altern. Lebensdauer und<br />
Sicherheitsreserven erhöhen sich, wenn folgende<br />
Punkte beachtet werden:<br />
· Das Seil vor dem ersten Gebrauch gemäß Gebrauchsanleitung<br />
abwickeln. Dies verhindert das<br />
Krangeln des Seiles.<br />
· Günstiger Seilverlauf erzeugt weniger Seilreibung<br />
und damit weniger Abrieb (auch beim Topropen!).<br />
· Seilverlauf und/oder Belastung über scharfe Kanten<br />
vermeiden.<br />
· Seil nicht unnötig durch Schmutz, Sand und Staub<br />
ziehen (innerer Abrieb), sondern Seilsack verwenden.<br />
· Vor und nach dem Gebrauch mehrmals locker durch<br />
die Hand laufen lassen.<br />
· Krangelfrei aufnehmen (Schlaufenmethode oder<br />
Seilsack).<br />
· Seil ab und zu über die gesamte Länge aushängen<br />
lassen.<br />
· Das Seil bei starker Verschmutzung reinigen (in<br />
klarem Wasser spülen oder Seilreiniger verwenden).<br />
· Nasse Seile an luftigem, schattigem Ort trocknen.<br />
· Aufbewahrung an trockenem, schattigem Ort mit<br />
möglichst gleichbleibendem Klima (nicht im Kofferraum!).<br />
· Berührung mit chemisch aggressiven Stoffen vermeiden.<br />
Lebensgefahr!<br />
· Keine scharfen Kanten- oder Quetschbelastungen<br />
während der Lagerung.<br />
CARE AND STORAGE<br />
Even modern ropes get old and wear out. Your ropes<br />
lifespan can be prolonged and the safety reserves<br />
maintained longer if you follow the following<br />
points.<br />
· Always uncoil your rope as described in the instruction<br />
manual supplied with the rope. This<br />
will avoid memory kinking.<br />
· Check that your rope runs with as little friction as<br />
possible, this reduces abrasion (also when top<br />
roping)<br />
· Avoid sharp edges.<br />
· Keep your rope as free as possible from dust, dirt<br />
or sand.<br />
· Before and after use run the rope several times<br />
through your hand.<br />
· Make sure your rope has no kinks when you coil<br />
it using the bow method or a rope bag, now and<br />
again let the whole rope hang free.<br />
· When very dirty you should wash your rope using<br />
rope wash or in clear water. Leave your rope loose<br />
in a well aired area in the shade and out of direct<br />
sunlight.<br />
· Keep your rope when not in use in a cool dry place<br />
and as much as possible in a constant temperature.<br />
· Avoid contact with aggressive chemical substances,<br />
these could damage your rope so that it is unsafe<br />
and dangerous to use.<br />
· Avoid sharp edges or heavy weights on your rope<br />
whilst it is being stored.<br />

The lightweight basic model in supreme <strong>EDELRID</strong> quality. The dorsal<br />
eyelet is longer, which makes it easier for one single person to handle<br />
the harness. The new lateral gear loops comfortably accomodate all necessary<br />

Der Basic Plus mit hinterer Auffangöse hat eine zusätzliche vordere<br />
Auffangöse in Form von zwei Schlaufen, die mit einem <strong>EDELRID</strong> Alu-<br />
Schraubkarabiner bestückt ist. Unkompliziertes Anlegen und Einstellen<br />
auf jede Körpergröße durch [easy wear] Jacken-System. Ergänzt mit<br />
dem Haltegurt Stopper entsteht ein vollwertiger Arbeits- und Positionierungsgurt.<br />
Auch in kleiner Größe erhältlich, für den jungen und/<br />

Dieser Haltegurt dient zur Arbeitsplatzpositionierung innerhalb eines<br />
Halte- oder Rückhaltesystems. Er kann jeden Gurt nach EN 361 um die<br />
Haltefunktion erweitern. 165 mm breites, double-padded Rückenpolster.<br />

Der Flex One ersetzt den Gurt Peak und birgt einige Neuerungen und<br />
Erleichterungen für den Einsatz. Er wurde für die einfache Anwendung<br />
bei optimaler Sicherheit konzipiert. Er ist als Auffanggurt sowie als<br />
Sitz- und Arbeitsgurt einsetzbar. Das Grundkonzept entspricht dem<br />
Flex. Somit bietet der Flex One denselben Tragekomfort wie sein „großer<br />
Bruder“. Neu ist die Größenverstellung mittels Easy Glider Schnalle,<br />
die die Handhabung um einiges erleichtert.<br />

This chest harness makes the Vertik a full body harness without any<br />
compromise. Padded shoulder straps combined with mesh design as well<br />

Durch seine Konstruktion passt sich der TreeMagic nahezu jeder Körperform<br />
an und kommt mit nur einer Größe aus. Im Gegensatz zu handelsüblichen<br />
Gurten können beim TreeMagic die Beinschlaufen locker<br />
eingestellt werden, was zum Tragekomfort im Baum und auch zum<br />
schnelleren An- und Ausziehen beiträgt. Lieferung komplett mit Materialkarabiner<br />
(original <strong>EDELRID</strong> Karabiner mit Schnapper). Kleine,<br />
sinnvolle Änderungen, wie z.B. die Optimierung der Gummiverstellung<br />
an den Beinschlaufen eine Karabinerschlaufe am Beinpolster runden<br />
das Gurtkonzept ab. Zur Stabilisierung des Oberkörpers kann der Tree-<br />
Magic mit dem Brustgurt Access Top Vario kombiniert werden. Das Modell<br />
TreeMagic Light ist für junge und/oder schmale Baumkletterer/innen<br />

Thanks to its construction the treeMagic perfectly adapts to almost any<br />
body size. In contrast to other arborist harnesses, the TreeMagic’s leg<br />
loops can be adjusted loose for both additional comfort and a quicker<br />
putting on. Supplied with gear karabiner (original <strong>EDELRID</strong> Sports karabiner).<br />
Minor, but useful changes, i.e. the adjusting of the rubber straps<br />
a karabiner loop at the leg paddingperfectly round off its new design. If<br />
you want to stabilize your upper body, combine the TreeMagic with the<br />
chest harness Access Top Vario. New: the TreeMagic light, for young and/<br />

Die Multiloop PSA erfüllt 4 EN Normen:<br />

Die Multiloop PSA kommt in allen Bereichen der „Persönlichen Schutzausrüstung gegen Absturz“ und zum<br />
„Retten aus Höhen und Tiefen“ zum Einsatz.<br />
Sie besteht aus einem Trägerband (45 mm), dem robusten Supertube (26 mm), und hat eine Gesamtlänge von<br />
160 cm. Um alle Einsatzmöglichkeiten abzudecken, kommen zwei Karabiner nach EN 362:2004 zur Anwendung.<br />
In der einzelnen Schlaufe am einem Bandende wird der Funktionskarabiner durch einen Fixiergummi/<br />
(Antitwist) in der richtigen Handhabungslage positioniert. Am anderen Bandende befinden sich, in ca. 11 cm<br />
Abstand, die acht Einstellschlaufen. Mittels des zweiten Karabiners werden Umfang bzw. Länge über die Einstellschlaufen<br />
justiert.<br />
Die Multiloop PSA deckt alle Anwendungen eines Verbindungsmittels ab. Wie etwa das unkomplizierte Einrichten<br />
eines Anschlagpunktes. Sie ist ideal in der Verwendung als Rettungsschlaufe für die Rettung und<br />
Selbstrettung. Das Umschlingen um den Brustkorb oder um die Beine ist einfach und zügig auszuführen. Sie<br />
ist optimal für Haltefunktionen und zur Standplatzsicherung geeignet, sowie zum Positionieren und zur Verhinderung<br />
von Abstürzen einzusetzen.<br />
Von der Vielseitigkeit, der uneingeschränkten Anwendung, der einfachen Handhabung, der kleinen Packgröße<br />
und den optimal gestalteten Bags sind die Anwender begeistert.<br />
Bei der Feuerwehr und den Höhenrettern hat sich die Multiloop PSA schon in vielen Situationen bewährt und<br />
ist dort ein wichtiger Bestandteil der PSA-Ausrüstung geworden.<br />
Das Multiloop PSA Set ist zum einen mit 2 x Steel HMS triple (Set Steel im Multi Bag) und zum anderen mit<br />
2 x HMS Triplelock (Set Alu im Stuff Bag) bestückt.<br />

The Multiloop PSA appears in all different fields of PPE against falls. It consists of a multiple-use strap (45 mm<br />
wide), the robust Supertube (26 mm), and has a total length of 160 cm. In order to cover all fields of application,<br />
it features two karabiners according to EN 362:2004. Thanks to the single loop with anti-twist at the end of the<br />
strap, the karabiner is always in the correct handling position. On the other end of the strap, the Multiloop PSA<br />
features 8 adjustment loops offering a space of 11 cm between the single loops. The Multiloop PSA covers all<br />
applications of a lanyard.<br />
It makes the setting up of an anchorage point particularly easy. Firemen and rescue teams use the Multiloop<br />
PSA for rescuing persons in upright and upside-down position. The Multiloop can also be used to prevent falls<br />
and as a work positioning lanyard, which makes a separate work positioning lanyard dispensable in some<br />

für das Arbeiten mit der Motorsäge im Baum, an scharfen Umschlingkanten<br />

Die Tibor Serie ist speziell für die Klemmknoten-Anwendung und nach<br />

den speziellen Materialmix im Seilmantel kann das Tibor sogar als Falldämpfer<br />
am Kletterseil funktionieren. Am <strong>EDELRID</strong> 12 mm X-P* und mit<br />
Distelknoten wurde ein Fangstoß von unter 6 kN gemessen! Die Tibor<br />
Serie ist neben der EN 566 auch nach dem höheren Standard der EN 354<br />
zertifiziert. Tibor II, die vernähte Rundschlinge, besticht durch seine<br />
schlanke Vernähung und vermeidet dadurch voluminöse und unhandliche<br />
Knoten. Tibor II ist als Prusikschlinge für die redundante Sicherung<br />

Die Baumpflege ist eine Anwendung der Kletterei, deren Innovation in<br />
Produkten und Klettertechniken nie zum Stillstand kommt. Wir haben<br />
die Erfahrung, die wir in über einem Jahrzehnt <strong>EDELRID</strong> Baumkletterprodukte<br />
gesammelt haben, mit dem Design- und Effizienzdenken aus<br />
dem Bergsport vereint und einen neuen Kambiumschoner erschaffen,<br />
der wirklich keine Wünsche mehr offen lässt. Er ist genauso einfach<br />
zu benutzen wie der herkömmliche, birgt aber einige Überraschungen,<br />
die ihn im Preis-Leistungsverhältnis unübertroffen machen: Integrierte<br />
Rollen garantieren einen optimalen Lauf des Kletterseils und reduzieren<br />
den Abrieb enorm. Das neue, 3-fach gelegte 16 mm Band ist leicht,<br />
flexibel und extrem stark. Verschleißteile wie Band und Rollen können<br />
vom Anwender selbst ausgetauscht werden. Die Präzisionsschrauben<br />

Tree climbing is one field of application where product innovations and<br />
climbing techniques are constantly optimised. After 10 years of experience<br />
with arborist products, we combined the design and the efficiency<br />
of mountain sports products with arborist equipment. The result is<br />
the brand new cambium protector which leaves nothing to be desired.<br />
It is as easy to use as the common one, carrying some surprises which<br />
make it unique when it comes to the price-/performance ratio. Integrated<br />
pulley wheels provide a smooth running of the rope reducing friction<br />
considerably. The new 3-layer 16 mm tape is lightweight, flexible<br />
and extremely strong. Wear and tear parts like strap and pulley wheels<br />
can be exchanged easily and directly by the user. Precision screws are<br />
fixed with a defined torque of 9 Nm.
Cambiumsaver mit Ringen/with rings<br />

seine Anwendung als Anschlagmittel bzw. Umlenkung für Kletterseile.<br />
Die verschieden großen Ringe sowie die Kennzeichnung am größeren<br />
Ring vereinfachen den Ein- und Ausbau vom Boden aus. Er findet auch<br />
Verwendung als Anschlag- und Verbindungsmittel in kritischen Bereichen<br />
(Industrie, Gittermast, Rettungswesen, Feuerwehr, Rigging).<br />
Especially developed for tree climbing, the Cambiumsaver is used as<br />
anchorage device and belay anchor for climbing ropes. Thanks to the<br />
different size of the two rings, it can easily be set up and removed even<br />
from the ground. It is also used as a lanyard and anchorage device in<br />
critical situations (industry, pylon climbing, rescue, high angle rescue<br />

Das Unterbringen des PSA Materials ist hier optimal gelöst. Er<br />
kann sowohl mit Trageriemen waagerecht, als auch mit dem Tragegriff<br />
aufrecht transportiert werden. Der Pfiff ist der herausziehbare Zuggriff<br />
in Verbindung mit den Rollen an der Unterseite. Die Rollen liegen so<br />
weit außen, dass der Samoa auch auf wackeligem Untergrund optimal<br />
seine Spur behält.<br />
