Mouse delay Many operating systems provide the users with a so-called mouse acceleration. Mouse delay NOTE: The mouse acceleration of the operating systems does not only evaluate the distance the mouse is being moved but also the duration of this movement. During “long” movements the cursor movement on the screen is accelerated. If the mouse is accelerated on your local computer as well as on the target, the cursor moves very fast and complicates the operation. Activating the mouse delay The control panel can be used to adjust the mouse delay during a session. How to (de)activate the application of the mouse delay within a session: 1. Open the control panel with the key combination Ctrl+Shift (default). 2. Klicken Sie im Menü auf System > Define mouse delay. 3. (De)activate the Enable mouse delay or Global mouse delay enabled options in the Mouse delay settings window. 4. Click Save to apply your settings or discard your changes by clicking Cancel. Configuring the acceleration value for the mouse delay How to define the acceleration value for the mouse delay: 1. Access the target for which the acceleration value of the mouse delay is to be changed. 2. Open the control panel with the key combination Ctrl+Shift (default). 3. Use the menu bar to click on System > Configure mouse delay. 4. Use the slider to adjust the acceleration value: NOTE: If the mouse moves too fast on the target, move the slider to the left (Slow).
