to those two, namely to Cassandra and to Helen. Then,
too, Cassandra begged a boon on behalf of her mother Hecuba
and on behalf of the wife of Hector son of Priam, to wit, Andromache,
and related to Agamemnon how those two loved him
greatly and used to speak well 1 of him in his absence. Agamemnon
left 2 that to the kings. This is what was settled 3
by them, (to give) their freedom to those twain. Whatever
