Survey
Imagine the year 2020. In addition to technological access, some personal abilities
are required to be part of the network society. Let's assume, user generated
environments will dominate the digital landscape. How many persons would be
ready for this adventure? And where do we find the political levers to allow as many
people as possible enjoying the digital networks and global information and
communication flows? These are the questions, I try to get your appraisals in these
following short questionnaires. If you like to get more background, please have a
look at my Research Design.
The survey is divided into two areas:
1. In the content area expert opinions are desired to 6 assumptions. Each
assumption refers to a different topic and includes always the same 6 questions
(self-assessment & your appraisals) and 1 comment box. The assumptions are
delivered in separate forms, so you can always interrupt your activity and can
resume at a later stage with the next assumption. If you like to modify your
previous answers, please choose the form again and evaluate the desired
questions - we will merge your answers manually. Please select in every form
your personal identification number.
• Topic A: Individual (with Assumption A)
• Topic B: Workflow (with Assumption B)
• Topic C: Media Environments (with Assumption C)
• Topic D: Usability (with Assumption D)
• Topic E: Transparency (with Assumption E)
• Topic F: space of flows (with Assumption F)
2. In the personal area, we ask for a few statistical data regarding your person.

Jedes einzelne Themenfeld (Topic A bis Topic F) strukturierte sich entlang des immer
gleichen Aufbaus 110 . Zunächst erfolgte die spezifische thematische Einführung, gefolgt
von der komplexen These („Assumption“) und dem standardisierten Fragenblock
(„Questionnaire“) 111 . Unmittelbar darunter konnte jede Expertin jederzeit die bislang
