Topic F: space of flows
In the network society, a global space of
flows determines our lives. For example,
the financial system, the communication
channels, the social web, the globalized
economy are all organized on an
international level. If people learn to
configure their user-generated
environments, they move from passive
folks to actively shaping persons, who
collectively organize the direction of the
concrete socio-cultural and sociotechnological
world. Then they are
creators of their direct environment and
their own identities.
