Nach 1990 wurden umfangreiche denkmalschutzgerechte Instandsetzungs- und Sanierungsmaßnahmen an den Klinkerfassaden, der Dacheindeckung und einzelnen Treppenhäusern vorgenommen. Der Gebäudeteil 1234 ist bereits frei von Nutzungen durch die Charité. Die in den anderen Ge- bäudeteilen gegenwärtig noch erfolgenden Nutzungen sollen bis spätestens 31. Dezember 2008 an andere Standorte verlagert werden. Im Oberlicht des Robert-Koch-Hörsaals befindet sich die Kunstinstallation „Fundspiegel“ der Künstlerin Annibel Culoldi Attems (http://www.viaarte. de/cunoldi/). Eine weitere Kunstinstallation, die Arbeit „Marmelade aus Mexico“ des Künstlers Adip Fricke (http://www.charite.de/imh/kultur/ indesx20d.htm, http://www.thewordcompany.de/ deitsch/projects/mam/), befindet sich in den Treppenhäusern des Gebäudeteils 1235. Bei beiden Künstlern handelt es sich um anerkannte in Berlin arbeitende Künstler, die mit ihren Installationen Bezug zu dem Ort, seiner Vergangenheit und Funktion sowie Ziel und Inhalt akademischer Forschungs- und zu Lehrtätigkeit nehmen. Beide Arbeiten sind von besonderer Qualität und sollten unbedingt erhalten bleiben. Sie befinden sich im Eigentum der Künstler, die in jedem Fall kontaktiert werden müssen, bevor über das weitere Schicksal entschieden wird. Das Grundstück wird durch die öffentlichen Straßen Wilhelmstraße, Dorotheenstraße, Bunsenstraße und Reichstagufer erschlossen. Die Zufahrt zum Innenhof erfolgt von der Wilhelmstraße aus. Der Zufahrtsbereich dient auch als Zufahrt für die Tiefgarage des angrenzenden Grundstücks Reichstag- ufer 8 (Hauptstadtstudio der ARD) und als Lieferzufahrt für das Grundstück Wilhelmstraße 67. Die Mitnutzung des Zufahrtsbereichs ist im Falle des Grundstücks Reichstagufer 8 durch eine Grunddienstbarkeit (Zugangs- und Versorgungsrecht) gesichert. Eine weitere Zufahrtsmöglichkeit zum Innenbereich besteht für PKW von der Bunsen- straße her. Die Nutzung der Zufahrt von der Wilhelmstraße aus zum ARD-Hauptstadtstudio ist durch eine Grunddienstbarkeit gesichert. The property is accessed by the public roads Wilhelmstraße, Dorotheenstraße, Bunsenstraße and Reichstagufer. Vehicle access to the central courtyard is via Wilhelmstraße. This area also serves as access to the underground car park of the neighbouring property Reichstagufer 8 (ARD studio) and as delivery access to the property at Wilhelmstraße 67. The property Reichstagufer is entitled to use this access area through an easement (access right of way and pipeline wayleave). Cars can also access the inner courtyard via Bunsenstraße. Vehicle access via Wilhelmstraße to the ARD studio is guaranteed by an easement. The purchasing contract must include an easement (wayleave and vehicle access right) to ensure delivery access to the property at Wilhelmstraße 67 and guarantee access to the escape route.
