Out of home multimedia
(Interaktive) Informationssysteme sind in unserer heutigen Informationsgesellschaft allgegenwärtig. Sie dienen der
multimedialen Anzeige von Informationen und/oder der Durchführung von elektronischen Prozessen.
In der Öffentlichkeit nehmen wir diese Systeme z.B. als Ticketterminals, Fahrscheinautomaten, Informationsterminals,
Großbildschirme oder elektronischen Anzeigetafeln wahr. eKiosk und Käppler & Pausch sind Hersteller von Informationssystemen
