Dear Readers,
Manufacturers of technical systems for passenger transport need to meet
stringent requirements, both at home and abroad. Companies with the necessary
expertise have great potential for success in this niche. In a highly
developed country such as Switzerland, there is an abundance of engineering,
design and implementation skills, together with uncompromizing ambition
for quality and customer service.
With this vision in mind I took over Bartholet Maschinenbau AG from my
father in 1995, and we are well on track to make it become a reality. With
the acquisition of Tschu-Tschu Road Trains, Bartholet Maschinenbau AG recently
added a new family of products that ideally complements our existing
programme. We now offer passenger transport on road and water as well
as by cable car.
Over the coming years, we will continue to focus on growth. My objective
for our company is to be working permanently at full capacity on its own
products.
