CIMA Impianti Markets the First
Eco-Line Curing Press
"True revolution in mould
cure Retreading"
The deep changes are noticeable throughout almost
the entire world, and they have also had a strong
influence upon the retreading industry.
Whether business constraints occur over the course
of the global crisis, or new legal requirements for
products and production plants, or environmental
imperatives – it is important for a company to continue
investing, increas-ing the value of its product range
and keeping an eye on possible future market developments.
“It is exactly here that CIMA Impianti is
investing and producing new products, new features
and new applications that exceed customer expectations,”
states Alessandro Vignolini from the Italian
press, buffer and mould specialist.
The centrepiece of the innovations that CIMA Impianti has intensively
worked on over the past three years is the new “Eco Line”
curing press. The Italian manufacturer promises that with this
new product line, first shown to an interested public at May’s Autopromotec
show in Bologna, the costs involved in mould cure retreading
can be reduced by around 30 per cent compared with conventional
presses. A large part of
the potential savings
come via a special insulation
material used for
the presses that minimises
heat loss during the
vulcanisation process.
“Our new Eco-Line
is not merely the application
of insulation inside
a press, rather it
offers a number of new
solutions,” Vignolini
elaborates. The QMC
(quick mould change)
system, for example,
allows for the fast
swapping of moulds in
one piece. Furthermore,
the presses utilise the
proven CIMA hot nitrogen
inflation system,
which is capable of re-
„Wirkliche Revolution in
der Heißrunderneuerung“
Beinahe weltweit sind die tief gehenden Veränderungen
spürbar, die auch die Runderneuerungsbranche
stark beeinflussen.
will man den Anschluss an Marktentwicklungen
nicht verlieren. „Genau hier investiert CIMA
Impianti und stellt neue Produkte, neue Produktmerkmale
und neue Anwendungen vor, die die Erwartungen
der Kunden übertreffen“, sagt Alessandro Vignolini
vom italienischen Anlagenbauer, der sich auf Pressen,
Raumaschinen und Formen spezialisiert hat.
I
Einsparungen entsteht dabei
durch das spezielle Isolationsmaterial,
das für die Pressen genutzt
wird und die Wärmeverluste während
des Vulkanisationsprozesses
minimieren soll.
„Unsere neue Eco Line entsteht
aber nicht nur durch die Verwendung
von Isolationsmaterial,
sondern bietet darüber hinaus eine
Reihe weiterer neuer Lösungen“,
erläutert Vignolini. So erlaube etwa
das neue QMC-System (Quick
Mould Change) den schnellen Formenwechsel
in einem Stück. Darüber
hinaus komme in den Pressen
der Eco Line das bewährte CIMA-
System zum Einsatz, wonach die
Vulkanisationspresse bzw. der
