However, the number of the reported prices is dependent on thesize of the enterprise. Smaller producers are requested to report considerablyfewer prices than the bigger producers.A Laspeyers index is compiled. This index measures the price changesover time for a number of prefabricated houses, which are defined in abase period and held constant in the subsequent measuring periods.The weighting structure is based on the voluntary information on turnoverin this area, obtained from the respondents.Missing prices are extrapolated with appropriate indicators.All changes in quality having an impact on price (e.g. size, dimension etc.)are eliminated by simple calculation corrections.The indices are compiled every six months and released in January andJuly.Indices are published t+15 days after the reference period.Prices are collected by sending questionnaires to selected enterprises.
