CBSStudents – and the ‘Academic Wannabees forAnimal Welfare’ – were, however, rewardedwith their desired increase in the total votingpercentage, which rose from 14.2 percent in2008 to 18.8 percent this year.HA (it)-student Christian Refshauge receivedthe most votes as student representativein CBS Board of Directors – 641 personalvotes in total – but this doesn’t mean he canbe sure of the seat. In the middle of the election,Christian Refshauge was almost expelledfrom CBS Students, having used a mailing listfrom the ‘Higher education funds to CBS’ petitionto promote his election campaign.After negotiations and a public apology,CBS Students withdrew the expulsion, citingChristian Refshauge to be too much of anasset to lose for a single blunder.
