評 価 させることが 明 らかとなった.ノーマルニスキンで
用 いているニトリルゴム 製 のOリングを 使 用 することが
その 原 因 である. 従 来 ,ニスキン 採 水 器 に 使 われている
ゴムの 一 次 生 産 への 影 響 は 指 摘 されていたものの, 今 日
では 採 水 器 の 改 良 が 進 み,みらいで 使 用 しているニスキ
ン-X 採 水 器 では 蓋 閉 用 のゴムチューブやスプリングを
ニスキン 採 水 器 内 部 へ 通 す 必 要 がなくなっている.その
ため, 現 状 ではサンプリングにおけるゴムの 影 響 はあま
り 考 慮 されていない.ところが 今 回 の 実 験 は, 採 水 器 中
のOリングだけでもゴムの 毒 性 により 一 次 生 産 測 定 に 深
刻 な 影 響 を 及 ぼすことを 再 認 識 させることとなった. 同
時 に,ニトリルゴム 製 Oリングの 代 わりにフッ 素 (バイ
トン)ゴム 製 Oリングを 酸 洗 浄 して 使 用 することで, 一
次 生 産 の 阻 害 を 受 けずに 培 養 できることを 明 らかにした.
