Summary<br />

The interest of this article, is to look at, how therapeutic conversations can go on, when the answer to the therapists’<br />

questions is «I don’t know». The article talk about, how conversations with young people need to establish<br />

a platform of meaningful identity stories, around the persons knowledge’s and skills, to be able to address<br />

the power of the negative identity conclusions in the persons life. The article also looks at taken for granted<br />

ideas around <strong>med</strong>icine and resistance, in the context of stories of resilience against problems and stories of<br />

knowledge’s of life. Drawing on ideas from <strong>narrativ</strong>e therapy, developmental psychology and philosophy, the<br />

article illustrates how conversations can go from «I don’t know» to «what is possibly to know».
