Maintenance
The following items (3. - 7.) may only be carried through by specialised
companies:
3. Cleaning the fan/removing the protective grid
Breakability! Never bend the protective grid by more than 30° out of
line!
Unlock the protective grid. For this, press both locks in the direction of the
arrow (left figure) simultaneously while pushing the grid slightly upwards
from the lock. Proceed in the same way on the other side of the protective
grid.
Re-inserting: Align the recesses of the protective grid to the locks and
press down the protective grid (right figure) until it engages audibly.
4. Inspection and cleaning of the fan rollers
Remove the cover grille, the fleece filter (if fitted) and the protective grid.
Inspect the fan roller area for foreign objects and remove these if necessary.
Turn the fan rollers by hand. In case of damage please contact a specialised
company. Vacuum-clean the fan area if necessary (a soft brush can support
the cleaning process). After that, fix the protective grid if necessary and
re-insert the fleece filter. Re-insert the cover grille and the fleece filter (if
fitted).
5. Examination and cleaning of the air guides
Remove the cover grille and the fleece filter (if fitted). We recommend
the use of a dry duster cloth or feather duster for cleaning the air guide
areas accessible with the hands. Areas with difficult access can be vacuumcleaned
(a soft brush can support the cleaning process). Adhering contamination
can be removed with a damp cloth, if necessary. Re-insert the
cover grille and the fleece filter (if fitted).
6. Heat exchanger
Remove the cover grille and the fleece filter (if fitted). We recommend the use
of a dry duster cloth or feather duster for cleaning the area accessible with the
hands. You can clean areas with difficult access with a vacuum cleaner with
corresponding nozzle or with a brush with long bristles. Re-insert the cover
grille and the fleece filter (if fitted).
Danger of injuries! Do not forget to
secure the decorative roll grille!
