24 EJ 40 Design: Johannes Foersom & Peter Hiort-Lorenzen, MDD Foersom & Hiort-Lorenzens EJ 4o blev præsenteret på Kölnmessen i 1991. Det er en lille, kompakt og fuldpolstret sofa med en vis korpus. EJ 40 har et forholdsvis rentegnet og stramt udtryk, den udstråler orden og kontrol. Det er en sofa, brugeren sidder pænt og ordentligt i. Den er altid præsentabel, uden løse hynder, og træstellet er en plint af fint forarbejdet ahorn, mahogni, kirsebær eller bøg. Foersom & Hiort-Lorenzen’s EJ 40 was launched at The Cologne Fair in 1991. EJ 40 is a small compact sofa with a fully upholstered body. It has a clear and concise appearance that signals structure and control. This is a sofa which compels the user to sit in a proper and orderly fashion. It is always presentable, with no loose cushions, and the wood base is a plinth of finely finished maple, mahogany, cherry or beech. 25
