The data relevant to this study were obtained from
questionnaires that were developed for teachers
and students. Questionnaires specific to the different
subject areas were developed for elementary
school (third- and fifth-grade) and middle school
(eighth-grade) teachers and students.
A stratified random sampling procedure was used to
select schools for the study.
