"Jonna Dan". - Cargo motorship, 280ft, 6in.
B.P*, by 46ft, 3in. moulded, hy 29ft. 6in. to upper
deck. 3.800 tons deadweight on 21ft. 4in. draught.
13 knots speed. Built for Mr. J. Lauritzen, Copenhagen,
for the owners Finland service, as well as
for tråde in the Tropics. The hull is strengthened
for navigatiag in ice, and there is an ice-cutter
aft, to protect the rudder. The stem is of special
design, suitable for ice-breaking. There are two
continuous decks, and the forecastle is low-built.
The five cargo hatchways are fitted with steel
covers. The general outfit includes six 5-ton, four!
10-ton and one 30-ton derrick, and electric winches !

Single-berth cabins are arranged for the crew,
eith the esceptions of the boys.The propelling Ma- ;
chinery, constructed by Messrs. Burmeister og Wain,:
Copenhagen, consists of a B. & W., type 650-VF-90,

engine developing 2.550 IHP. Trial trip, 6th
