Afdelingens overordnede mål er at udvikle
grundlaget for en bæredygtig ernæring
af husdyrene. Forskningen i afdelingen
skal derfor styrke kendskabet til den
fysiologiske og biokemiske regulering af
næringsstoffernes omsætning og udnyttelse
samt udskillelse til miljøet. Forskningen
skal endvidere sikre en bedre forståelse
af de enkelte næringsstoffer, interaktioner
og funktioner, med det formål
