Dear puppeteers, dear colleagues,
The European Commission of Unima is keen
on creating a “Road of Puppetry” throughout
Europe. This project is supported by the
German and international Unima and wants
to go online 2012.
This project is planned as a directory for tourists
that are especially interested in puppetry
and similar forms of theatre. Travelling
along this route would enable people to go
from one place to another and thereby visit a
number of theatres that are otherwise
unknown.
The different places will be marked on a map
and listed in a catalogue online. These should
have opening hours for guests to make a visit
possible. We aim to describe the unique art
in every one of these theatres and workshops
by giving a short summary.
More information can then be found on the
individual websites.
For this purpose, we would like to create a
kind of business card for every place on the
map. To include you in this project and give
a short, impressive idea of what you are
doing, we need a good picture of your institution
and would like you to answer the
following questions (don’t worry – this should
only take about ten minutes of your time!).
Your inclusion in the „Road of Puppetry“, the
upkeep of the website and keeping things upto-date
would cost 5 Euros per Year and institution.
