Duke in El Castigo sin Venganza and Othello in Othello, the Moor of Venice. Both tragic heroes go<br />
through a transformation during the plays; the Duke goes from being a deceitful womanizer to being<br />
an orthodox man and a loyal husband. Othello on the other hand goes from being a noble general<br />
with a lot of self-‐control to being an irrational and blinded man to then somewhat re-‐establishing his<br />
reputation with his death.<br />
