31. Den Blå Planet – Danmarks Akvarium og forskning

Den Blå Planet – Danmarks Akvarium åbner i slutningen af marts 2013 i ny fantastiske omgivelser i
Kastrup nær Københavns Lufthavn. Det bliver i en meget større setting end det gamle Danmarks
Akvarium i Charlottenlund. Den Blå Planet – Danmarks Akvarium er et moderne akvarium der ikke
kun er et fantastisk sted at tage på tur med sin familie og venner, men også en institution der er
baseret på et videnskabeligt grundlag. Det er også vores ambitioner at deltage aktivt til at
frembringe ny viden om de organismer og levesteder vi formidler. I dette foredrag vil akvariets
zoolog og forskningsansvarlige Peter Gravlund fortælle om ambitioner, planer og muligheder for
forskningsprojekter der indeholder Den Blå Planet – Danmarks Akvarium.
The National Aquarium of Denmark will open in its new fantastic setting close to Copenhagen
International Airport in March 2013. The new location will be much larger with state of the art
tanks and technic. The National Aquarium of Denmark will not only be a wonderful place to spend
a day with your family, but also an institution that is run on a scientific basis. We are driven by the
ambition to participate actively in acquiring new knowledge about aquatic organisms and their
biotopes as well as their husbandry. In this presentation will Peter Gravlund, Zoologist and Head of
Research at the aquarium tell about our ambitions, current plans and what we can offer researchers.
