were signs that kept appearing on my way. When I drew something the people
often said: “Good but not perfect-you should take a photo of it.” Also my coach
Fuch´s advise to choose just one thing to be fully made me go to hunt photos
or play chess to get accomplished some ideas of photo compositions. I tried to
comprise all the arts to o awareness so hard that they could enforce each to
other – with feeling the right one till it becomes the very awareness.
WHAT DO YOU FEEL?
The life in its fullness through the art of creativity. I am thankful for being able to
recognize the awareness of art that is photography in my case, where I am “at
home” and I do not need to search on and distract myself.
WHAT ELSE DO YOU DO?
As a child I used to love to play with colors and I drew with crayons - people, still
life scenes, landscapes and after some famous artists´ reproductions , for example
Cossacks by Mikoláš Aleš. My works evoked astonishment. I used to give
my work away as presents to please the people. People liked them. Some of my
schoolmates would destroy them out of jealousy. My teacher managed to rescue
a few and sent them to a national competition. From there they found their
way abroad as well. I do not try to evade anything. I stand for a renaissance
of all united capabilities that intensifies the fullness of life dynamics with joyful
and outright sharing with others. I am able to express myself through painting,
graphics, poetry, riding my bike, the game of chess and so on. I got myself a
treadmill, an indoor bicycle and a few dumbbells in order to be able to work out
in all kinds of weather. It is good. If I feel lost, I can create “some contrast” – and
inspiration comes again.

WHO IS YOUR INSPIRATION FROM THE PHOTOGRAPHY WORLD?
Josef Sudek and his crystal clear expression is an inspiration as well as Jaromir
Funke’s architecture, Evezen Wiskovsky’s geometry, Jan Svoboda’s lights,
Vilem Reichmann’s metamorphosis, Ansel Adam’s straightforward landscapes,
Henry Cartier-Bresson’s humanism, I admire Alfred Stieglitz tz for his work in
making photography an art in its own rights, the wide array of motifs of Edward
Steichen and Edward Weston’s efforts to reveal the inner self. From the current
scene I admire the luminescence of Jan Pohřibný and I deeply co-resonate with
the gentle poetic touch of Karel Koutský’s photographs. But there are others, of
course. However, I am mainly connected with all of them through the fullness
of life in consciousness.
